I don't think I ever would've watched this movie if my pal's professor didn't write about it recently, but I did and it was pretty okay. I don't have much to say about it except that Michael Douglas looks great in glasses, Katie Holmes is still mediocre, and Robert Downey Jr. is very enjoyable as a gay man [spoiler alert!]. Also, Robert and Mike are the Thelma and Louise of this movie [there's a car crash -- spoiler alert again].

ReplyDeleteMan Michael Douglas is defs. a fox in this, and it isn't the glasses, it's the hair. See Falling Down if you don't believe what I'm saying. But don't see Falling Down. Also, why on earth would A WOMEN'S STUDIES MAJOR single out Katie Holmes' unremarkably whatever performance over Tobey Maguire's insistence on sucking at everything he has ever done, ever?
