A Serious Man (2009)

You guys ever heard of the Coen Brothers? They like made The Big Lebowski and stuff. They have a new movie about being a dude who can't catch a break. Also he is Jewish and has Problems everywhere.

In all [ahem] seriousness, I did think this was really well-made. Really. Go see it. Those Bros. also reminded me that sometimes Jefferson Airplane can really groove you.

Sophie's Choice (1982)

This may be Meryl Streep's best role, people. I love this movie so hard. Despite my affections for this movie, I was not really in the mood to watch it again since I remembered the detrimental effects it has had on me. I got sucked in when my pals watched it, though, because it is so good.

That is all I have to say.
